Mind mapping can be an immensely useful tool for brainstorming and documenting your thoughts. There are plenty of choices when it comes to mind mapping software from the likes of the free FreeMind to the not so free Mindjet and MindGenius; both of which are feature-packed.

GiveAwayOfTheDay have been offering free stuff for a while now and whilst there’s no cost involved, some of the applications have been of dubious quality.
