Well, I was finally able to install the product. I haven't requested any refund yet; coz I am curious about the black hat version. I'd advise that people install the free version of that software first and see if it works for them.

I too purchased the 'White Hat' version after reading about the hype of this product from one of the top affiliate marketers. And, I was seriously disappointed - the download is supposed to be automated - but does not work as expected.

The manual is not placed in the forum where it is supposed to be. Reading the forum comments to get help is a big nuisance too. I had to spend about two days to get the script working finally. And, the website promises to give some bonus - but that bonus is nowhere to be found !!

Technically I found that the product displays naively
the source code for any framed links. I'd not expect this for a good cloaking script.

That is one of the worst launches for a product which claims to do a lot. I seriously feel that internet marketers should test their products througly before launching them in marketplace. Giving excuses later will result in a lost customer for ever.

Here's Some Other Peoples' Experiences

Another frustrated customer writes,

When the installer copied "ErrorDocument 404 /gotrythis/gotrythis.php" to my .htaccess file it plays havoc with my rss feeds.

When I remove "ErrorDocument 404 /gotrythis/gotrythis.php" from my .htaccess file all rss feeds work fine.

GTT Support replied,

In short, GoTryThis won't work without a 404 redirect. There is obviously some inconsistency between the .htaccess settings required or used by your RSS feeds and that used by GoTryThis, and is most likely attributable to mod_rewrite being used. If this is in your .htaccess file, then you will probably need to follow the advice given for WordPress users who also have the same issue.

Some workarounds for this are discussed in the cheat sheets and in the manual.

Frustrated customer continues,

I have outlined my problem to you. I bought GoTryThis Black Hat version on July 15 2006. Today is August 11th 2006. I am requsting your solution to my problem with your software or a refund so that it is on record before my 30 days is up...

Being that you did not post this potential problem on your website while you were selling your product there was no way that I or anyone else could have researched the problem for our server before buying. This was your mistake not our mistake.
