One thing that’s currently getting my goat is the number of useless affiliates who seem to think that posting affiliate links and regurgitating some sales copy is enough to generate sales.
I’ve learnt from my own experience that this simply isn’t the case and now that my free time is ever more scarce, I find I have very little time and willing to dig deeper into affiliate pre-sell.
However, when I find an affiliate promoting a product and adding some value over what the merchant offers, I’m more inclined to stop and take notice.
These are the useful affiliates who offer their own unique value to an offer and are ultimately more successful. It takes more work to be a great affiliate, but then how else do you stand apart from every other affiliate promoting the same products?
