Temperatures across the UK soared to their highest in almost 100 years. Working in the heat was becoming so uncomfortable that I visited a couple of home electrical stores to buy an air conditioning unit only to find empty shelves.
Upon checking my Google AdSense stats for the past couple of days, guess which of my niche websites was soaring…
Yep, you guessed it. Not only are people snapping up the air conditioners and electric fans in an effort to cool down, but they are also searching online for cooling solutions too. Fortunately for me, they’re finding my website and clicking on my ads.
This is yet another good example of how to ride predictable trends and also targetting desperate people.
