I’ve just found out that there’s going to be a new version of RSS to Blog released some time this week.
Some of the new features appearing in version 4.0 include:
- MYSQL driven
- Global changes to multiple projects (activate, deactivate many projects with 1 click)
- Ability to post to many blogs from one profile
- Ability to create one profile for multiple wordpress categories
- Auto Linking keywords
- Bold keywords
- Upload text from files
- Categorize your projects
- Randomize the format of your search and news results (links, no links, bold, italic or use your own text!)
- Filter RSS feeds for keywords
This sounds like an excellent update. One of the weaknesses of the current version of RSS to Blog is its handling of a large number of blogs in that it doesn’t provide you with the ability to make mass edits; each individual blog profile still needs to be configured manually. For managing a smaller number of blogs or if you don’t need to make edits on a large scale then there’s no real issue, but as someone with around 50 blogs to manage it can be a bit of a pain in the ass!
[Update 20/05/2006]: Just received the following, in regards to the upcoming RSS to Blog update…
We apologize for the delay but we want to make sure we have a smooth launch next week. So we are working very hard to finalize things and get these products out to you as soon as possible

I’d like to see any of the blogs maintained using ‘Rss to Blog’. If you are making money with such blogs, would you kindly share one of those blogs here - so that we could really see the Google and Alexa ratings of such blogs. I could not find any examples on the product site.
RSS To Blog is a tool that helps me to make money.
It’s difficult to quantify exactly how much RSS To Blog is responsible for because I use it to help keep websites updated with fresh content, but I don’t rely on it solely to generate revenue. I have other methods in place to do things such as attracting traffic.
As for examples, there is one on the sales page.
